東森YoYo台水果家族陪伴許多人成長，第一代鳳梨哥哥（簡義隆）曾在YoYo台主持5年，後來參與歌唱選秀節目《明日之星》，今（16）日驚傳離世消息，親弟在鳳梨哥哥臉書悲痛證實，昨（15）早已離開人世，目前正在處理後事，由於事發突然，無法一一向各位解釋清楚，消息一出震驚演藝圈，親友感到相當悲痛不已。
義隆的親弟在臉書表示，哥哥昨日上午已離開人世，因不清楚對方的人際圈，因為陸續收到簡訊與電話，先感謝外界對他的關心，但因家人在詫異驚嚇又難過的心情下，也有要處理的程序，針對一些詢問為什麼的問題，實在沒有辦法一一回覆，因此發文統一回答。「如果跟他認識較久的朋友，應該知道前兩年就有曾經出現突發狀況，只能說我們也很難過這次已經沒有上次的幸運，等家人發現時已經都來不及了。人生嘎然而止對家人們是措手不及的，相信對各位也是，昨天還發著文，說著話，笑著聊天吃東西，但今天就已經離開人間，人生即是這麼無常，很難過很不捨但是無可奈何。」
義隆弟弟表示，更多的細節容我們為哥哥保留著，也讓他們有時間與盡可能平靜的心情來處理他的後事，請大家給予祝福與祈禱就好。最後，因為告別式的日子需要等待討論安排，因此時間確定會再針對有來訊要參加的人告知，「我們也是第一次處理這些事情，也還要摸索詢問，請給我們家人一些包容，謝謝。」
