江志豐近來推出新專輯《我有罪》，新歌〈永遠的寶貝〉獻唱給他的一雙兒女。54歲的他自認婚前是浪子，從沒有結婚計畫，但在3年前一聽到交往7年女友意外懷孕，2人隨即登記結婚，還憶起當時女友陪他赴馬來西亞表演，他每次出國、晚上習慣小酌，自嘲酒後亂性才讓女友懷孕，幽默說：「我們滿扯，真的沒想到。」
他與太太婚後接連迎來女兒、兒子誕生，當年新婚後，期待大女兒的出生，在太太懷孕期間，他開始用音樂記錄升格當爸的心情。感性說，自己的年紀開始越來越大，不知道能陪小孩多久，剛好碰上疫情爆發延期發片，這首歌不斷修改成50種版本，甚至進到錄音室還在修正，用心唱出滿滿父愛。
江志豐的親姊姊龍千玉，從小熱愛音樂也擁有精湛歌藝，他自豪說，年僅2歲半的女兒遺傳音樂天賦，在家喜歡敲打鋼琴、吉他等樂器，音感頗佳，女兒現在也會唱龍千玉〈九月玫瑰〉、江志豐的〈失去你的夢〉等歌，每次唱到苦情的台語歌，女兒臉上開始皺著眉頭、流露悲傷表情，非常投入，他在家總是被女兒唱歌模樣逗得樂開懷，被太太笑虧是「女兒傻瓜」。
出道30年的他，先前宣布未來不再推出實體專輯，同時也不會站到台前唱歌，未來專心當創作人及做音樂幕後推手，時間留給陪伴太太、兒女成長。他不希望兒女出道當藝人，有感而發說：「這條路不好走，龍姊從小苦過來，我做音樂也是苦了半輩子。」盼小孩快樂學習、健康長大。
