吳德榮在「三立準氣象·老大洩天機」專欄指出，歐洲模式（ECMWF）模擬顯示，明天、周二（28、29日）各地晴時多雲，氣溫續升，白天微熱（各地區高溫升至30℃以上）、早晚涼；西半部及金馬易有霧。周二半夜、東北季風挾冷空氣南下，北、東轉雨，氣溫遽降；周三、四（30、1日）冷空氣籠罩，北部、東半部有局部雨，北台溼冷，注意保暖；中南部多雲時晴，氣溫略降，白天舒適、早晚涼冷。周五、六（2、3日）北部、東半部仍有局部雨，冷空氣稍減弱，氣溫逐日緩升，北台仍偏冷。

他說，周三晚、周四晨氣溫降至最低；但冷空氣不夠強，台北氣象站最低氣溫約只能降至17℃，比「大陸冷氣團」（台北氣象站≦14℃）的定義還高了3℃。但因為是入冬第1波、北台灣又有氣溫驟降（周二白天至周三白天下降超過10℃）的過程，感受上比較冷；而且北台灣的自動觀測站，仍會出現13、14℃的平地最低氣溫，一定要注意保暖。
