桃園市長之戰民進黨鄭運鵬敗選，他今（27）日下午展開車隊謝票，對於敗選他再三強調，選舉的責任由他一個人要負全責。對於桃園市長鄭文燦有沒有談過下一步的規畫？鄭運鵬表示，鄭文燦沒有與他聊到未來的規畫，鄭文燦這八年成績、能力，受到市民的肯定，「鄭市長有自己最好的安排」。

鄭運鵬下午帶著兒子由立委黃世杰與民進黨市議員當選人彭俊豪、魏筠、張曉昀、黃崇真等人陪同，率車隊謝票，從南區競選總部出發繞行中壢、平鎮、龍潭南桃園街道向選民表達感謝。

鄭運鵬受訪時被問到會不會希望桃園市長當選人張善政未來也能延續鄭文燦的施政？鄭運鵬表示，他相信大家選舉的結果，市民朋友的選擇都是希望桃園未來越來越好，每一位市長都有他不同的施政風格，我們尊重張善政市長。

媒體問說，這一次的桃園市長的選舉可能不盡理想，有沒有想過可能是哪些原因造成的？鄭運鵬強調，所有的選舉責任都由他一個人承擔，大家的檢討，大家的反省的點我們都會虛心接受，選舉的結果雖然不盡人意，所有的成績所有的因素都我一個人來承擔。

媒體追問，鄭文燦有沒有跟他聊下一步的規劃？鄭運鵬表示：沒有。「我相信昨天我們盡快把選舉後續工作該做的規劃都做好，並沒有聊到後面鄭文燦市長的規劃，我相信他這八年的成績，也受到市民肯定，我相信大家會肯定他的能力，他也有自己最好的安排。」
